What happens when one small bee wants to be a hero? Loyal, brave and misguided, Glorybee nearly brings disaster on her Queen and the Hive.
This is a bee-bopping, wing-twirling full-fun stinger
of a new musical for children.
BUZZ - the Story of Glorybee was first performed in May 2011 by the Children's Theatre of the British Academy of International Arts in Kuwait. 35 multi-national musical theatre students aged 6 to 13 years worked with composer and musical director Harriet Petherick Bushman and choreographer Kamara Gray to stage the premier of this up-beat hour-long operatina. Produced by Alison Shan Price, sell-out performances took place in several locations throughout Kuwait including the British Embassy. Talented ten year old musical theatre student Isabella Welinkar starred as the original Glorybee.
